3 At Home Golf Specific Workouts! This Is Not The Time To Stop Moving

What a crazy time we are living in. The whole Coronavirus or COVID-19 has literally shaken the world, and I think the thing that is striking the most fear in people is the uncertainty of how long it will last.

Everyone reacts differently to situations like this. Most live in fear, fear of the unknown. Which, if you think about it, it's kind of silly. You're worrying about something that could possibly never happen.

Then you say, "yeah, but what if it does?" Well, we can deal with it then.

One thing that I've always said is, "it's a waste of time, energy, and well being to worry about something you cannot control."

Focus on what you can control, and right now that's making the most out of the uncharted situation we're all in.

I have a few ideas for you

  • Clean Your Home

  • Play/create a Game With Your Kid(s) (if you have them)

  • Create or Update a New Budget

  • Create New Family Goals

  • Start That New Side Hustle You've Been Thinking Of

  • Exercise (you knew it was coming)

Exercise is the one thing that will help you in so many ways. It helps release endorphins which will make you feel so much better. It's great for the brain, the heart, and every other organ.

Here are few different ways you can get some exercise in.

  • Walk/Run

  • Floor Exercises (sit-ups, push ups, plank)

  • Stretch (great for the whole body)

I have created 3 different routines for you. One is all about stretching, one is strength, and one is designed to get your heart pumping. The one common denominator they all have is they're awesome for your golf game and well being.

Give them a try, no equipment needed (except a golf club).

Here is what I have learned over the years of being a golf fitness coach.

You can have the BEST information out there, but if you don't use it, it's worthless.

You can pay thousands of dollars to get tested for the exact foods for you to eat, but if you don't eat them, or eat other crap foods. Guess what? Yep, you wasted your money.

My point being, you HAVE to use it! What's the best way to do it? Find an accountability partner.

75% of the reason trainers are in business is because they hold people accountable.

Here are a few ways to get it done now (just remain 6 ft apart when exercising with another human being :)

  • Talk a neighbor into working out with you.

  • Ask your spouse to join you

  • Walk your dog, don't have one? Buy one or borrow your neighbors

  • Use me, I'd love to be your accountability partner!

Seriously, email me, message me on social media, call me at the gym. I have held people accountable for 20 years in this industry and now, this week, I've got nobody here. I'm here to help!
