3 Simple Ways To Get Your Off-Season Started Right

I know I know, this time of year is not great for golfers. Teeing it up in 40-50 degree weather is not fun.

So why not use this time of year to work on the #1 piece of equipment?

I preach about this every year, and some take me up on it and some don't. Make this the year you do, and you'll be the one messaging me in a couple months thanking me!

What I know from 15 years of doing this, is the more complicated the process is, the less likely you'll be do it.

So, I've made it very simple, because it doesn't need to be a huge process.

Here are 3 Simple ways to get started now.

1. Figure out what you need

Why focus on things you don't need? Make sure you're doing movements and exercises that are going to make you better.

Take a few minutes and go through our at home golf fitness assessment. Once you've done that you'll know exactly what you need to do.

2. Don't set your expectations too high

It doesn't take a ton to make a positive change! If you haven't done much exercise in the past, then just adding 3 simple exercises like those in the video below will make a HUGE difference.

3. Stay Consistent

Consistency is the biggest factor when it comes to making physical changes, the way you look, the way you move, even the way you feel can take some time. The most frustrating thing for me is when a client comes in 1 time per week for a month and is frustrated that their handicap hasn't dropped 6 strokes yet.

So stay consistent and do little things everyday and watch what happens!

Make this the year you put the work in and make some positive changes in your body and your game. It doesn't take much!
